On Thursday, October 26, IBEW Local 400 hosted Ocean County Vocational Technical School’s Career Fair, with a special emphasis on recruiting women in the construction industry, shining a spotlight on the essential need for female representation in the trades. This event provided a unique opportunity for young female students to connect with professionals in trades and construction. The program included ‘Women in Trades Interactive Stories,’ where inspiring speakers shared their experiences in the field, showcasing their resilience and success. Students then had the chance to explore a variety of career options during a networking session. Together, we’re creating a brighter, more inclusive future in construction!
